The Tricks That I Should Be Able To Do But Can’t
The Tricks That I Should Be Able To Do But Can’t.
Yes, I have been doing tricks on BMX bikes for 37 years. That is a long time. A really long time. And yes, it is pretty cool that I jump on a bike and do a wheelie for as long as I want. Actually, that is pretty awesome! However, there are tricks that I have been trying for years. Seriously, about 7 or 8 years. I have come a long way with these tricks and occasionally I land them. Although I would much prefer to be landing them more consistently, that is for sure!

Sending Tyres to Africa!
Sending Tyres to Africa!
Nathaniel Lee is a BMX Freestyler from Ghana and is having a terrible time with his tyres. I am going to send him some new tyres, however, postage is very expensive. If you are able to throw in a few bucks, that’d be amazing, and it would mean that he will get the tyres much sooner rather waiting for me to save up the cash. And follow @nathaniellee78 on instagram and say hi!
The Tour Starts Again
The Tour Starts Again and Dennis was able to come along with me. I don’t know who was more excited, him or me? We both had such a good time!
I fixed it… with TOOLS
I fixed it… with TOOLS! It actually took a few days. I am so proud of myself. Now show bike becomes spare bike (and all of the mistakes in between).
This happened during a show!
Something felt strange and I wasn’t rolling properly. Quickly checking the cables, levers, and gyro, I narrowed the issue down to the brakes where I discovered the brake pad perpendicular to what it should be. Teachers to the rescue!! We like teachers. They are good.
I broke my bike again
I broke my bike again. This time (and all the times) it turned out to be completely my fault. I put the washer that sits between the crank arm and the sprocket the wrong way around. Which meant that the locator nut was taking all of the pressure. So of course it broke. Luckily it happened whilst training and not during a show. Thank goodness!
I Rode Over the School Principal
I literally rode over the school’s principal.
Admittedly, he put me up to it. The school loved the show so much they chanted and chanted for an encore. Check it out in the video below :o)
That feeling when you know you have done a good job.
There is that feeling when you know you have done a good job. The show went flawlessly. The kids loved the show. It is just amazing!
