My Tyres Exploded!
I bought 6 of these Eclat Mugen tyres. 2 for show bike, 2 for spare bike, and 2 spare. $75 each!! 3 of them have exploded, or were about to explode. As much as I really liked these tyres, I cannot trust them and have bought some Odyssey Frequency G’s instead.
Time to Find a New Riding Spot
Well it finally happened. My riding spot has been bulldozed to make way for a hyperspace bypass.
Spare Bike Gets a Make-over!
I have two bikes. Show Bike and Spare Bike. Show Bike is for shows and spare Bike is the back-up in case something happens to Show Bike. During the WA tour I had to use Spare Bike because the brakes were being strange on Show Bike. I couldn’t fix them because I had also just discovered that I had left the majority of tools back in Melbourne!
Everything went well, however, there were a few things that I needed to refine. The brake levers and the tyres.
Here you go, Spare Bike’s Makeover
Last Show Before Travelling Home
I made it. 2 days of driving and I was home. Daughter got lots of hugs, too, but these were edited out.
Travelling Back Across the Nullarbor. The most amazingly stunning scenery!
It feels like I am on my way home. And I am. But there is a looooong way to go….
A 2Hr Detour for an Extra Show
I finished the last show in Perth and wasn’t sure whether I was driving to Broomehill or to Esperance. Everyone at the agency had finished for the day and were not answering any of my calls. Eek!
I ended up staying the night at a little town where I could either turn right to go to Esperance or go straight ahead to go to Broomehill. I got a call in the morning that Broomehill was going ahead which meant I had to leave straight away. It was a two hour drive and I was due to start in 3 hours. To give me an hour for setting up and warming up. Yikes.
New Promo
I am going to use this as my new promo. What do you think?
No Time for any Warm-Up. Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, I had no time for any warm-up. No riding, no juggling, no anything. Yet, it went spectacularly well. Sweet!
